Here Comes the Bride...

Weddings are a fantasy. They take their guests away from reality for a short period of time to have them stop and honor the love and commitment of two people. They are a time when two souls become one, making a family's journey begin. I have dreamt of my wedding day for as long as I can remember. To be honest, I basically have the entire day planned out...and I'm only 17.
Every girl wants her wedding day to be perfect and because of this, she has to find the most phenomenal dress she has ever seen. That is why the world gave us brilliant designers like Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and Marchesa's Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman. It is these very designers who have changed the world of weddings forever. They have created some of the most beautiful bridal gowns in the entire world and continue to do so every season. They seem to love experimenting with new ideas of what a bride should be and look like and this season was no exception.
During bridal week, all of the collections had one similar trait...red. At first glance I wondered why on earth a bride would ever wear red. It would be so daring, so bold, and so untraditional. Then I realized, why would a bride NOT wear red?! The color red symbolizes passion, desire, sensuality, infatuation, and most importantly, love. It was beyond genius to put a bride in red. Needless to say, I quickly became a fan of the unexpected trend. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I saw the traditional white dresses in all their forms. Lace and peplums were huge trends with these particular gowns. Overall, I loved the majority of the wedding gowns that graced the runways this season.
Being inspired by my own dream wedding and the gowns I saw during bridal week, I styled 10 bridal looks that would make any girl swoon! The looks include a bridal gown, a wedding ring, and complementary hair and make-up, along with bridesmaids' dresses, shoes and flower bouquets. Now without further adieu prepare yourself to say "I do!"

xoxo, Taylor.
