2012 PCA's Best Dressed

Awards season has officially begun! Last night was a marvelous kick off for the season ahead with the People's Choice Awards. It was held at the Nokia Theater live from Los Angeles, California. I must say, I was extremely impressed with the celebrities' outfits of choice last night. The red carpet was replete with unique patterns, embellishments, and bold colors. Designers from Donna Karen, Jenny Packham, and Elie Saab to Proenza Schouler, Oscar de la Renta, and Marchesa were all represented at the star-studded event. However, there were three ensembles in particular that completely astonished me. Let's see who my picks were for PCA's best dressed...
#3. LOL actress Miley Cyrus in David Koma dress, Jimmy Coo pumps, and Marchesa clutch.
I really enjoyed seeing Cyrus wear a beautifully crafted cocktail dress instead of the usual edgy Roberto Cavalli numbers. The dress was perfect for the occasion being ultra feminine and having a plunging sheer neckline along with iridescent pink and orange details at the hem of the skirt. It was genius to finish the look with metallic hot pink pumps and a shimmering clutch. She looked so refined.

#2. Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale wearing a Cengiz Abazoglu dress, black platforms, Sutra earrings, and a Baccarat ring.
I am crazy about this outfit! Every inch of detail within this dress makes it very eye-catching. I love the exaggerated shoulder on the right side; it gives the look an edge. I also loved how the black bead-embellished dress included a portion that wrapped around her hips and traveled to the floor. Hale was oozing glamour last night in this ensemble.

#1. Once Upon a Time actress Ginnifer Goodwin in a Roksanda Ilincic dress, Jimmy Choo booties, and a black envelope clutch.
The color of this dress is phenomenal. It is perfect for the spring and looks exceptionally classy on Goodwin. The best parts of the dress are the bell-shaped sleeves and the below-the-knee hemline. I personally think she looks amazing in this dress due to how it flatters her figure so well. I hope to see Goodwin in more bold colors like this at upcoming events this year. She nailed it!
